9/4/12 glacier cruise Seward ak

So after a eventful evening searching for keys it was was a normal morning to wake up. Had eggs toast and such got to sleep in as we didn't need to be into downtown Seward until 1030 am for a scheduled glacier wildlife cruise that left at 1130 am sharp. Well it was raining off and on and a storm was a brewing in the gulf of Alaska so it was questionable on what we would do today. The weather was really going to push what happened and if they couldnt get around the Aialak point then it would turn into the 3 hour cruise and a refund of half the monies. So we took the chance and rolled the dice and see what would happen out on the water. Well the wind was blowing rain and cold as we went out and the further we got the worst it got, and people were getting sick looking all over the ship. Well I normally don't have trouble on the seas so I was moving all over getting photos looking and just moved up from deck 1 to deck 2. All of a sudden the capt put out a call for the crew to scramble and anyone on board who was medical/doctor to go to Eco one for a fall and unresponsive person. Well it turns out that a older woman just let go of the handle and fell down a deck of stairs and was out so they had to turn around and zoom back. Well Major Marine offered everyone that stayed on half money back and free meals, or full credit, or reschedule. So we got off as we will be coming back and can use this time to kill once we get here.

After this the weather got worse and worse with rain and wind moving in so we decided to go to the Alaskan sealife center. This is a really neat place that rescues sealife that is injured orphaned and tries to reintroduce them to the wild. They had all kinds of cool animals, puffins, sea lions, harbor seals, and two baby walrus that are like 300 lbs and only 13 months old. But they just had all kinds of interesting stuff on the Alaskan sea life and such. After this decided to head back and prep more salmon and do some laundry as this will be the last chance until I get home. Well it poured rain and some wind and the news was showing crazy stuff in anchorage like 100 mph winds so I knew it would be interesting getting back to turn the rv in after our rental.
